I've dialed-down the adjuster under the seat. Suspension is still way to stiff.

The trunk cannot be removed, and I'm not interested in a "lift kit".
thanks for your time and your suggestions.

You would be quite surprised how bad the OEM shocks really are compared to a good pair of aftermarket shocks.

2 top Aftermarket shock contenders:
ProAction 14” shocks
DK Customs 14” shocks.
(There are others too: Legend, Progressive, SuperShox are next well mentioned).

I’m personally running ProAction 14” and quite pleased.
Also, With any 14” shock, you do NOT need a “lift kit” bracket.

As mentioned, you will be surprised on the ride difference when lowering your rear tire pressure too. (22 psi seems to be the “sweet spot” with many on here, including myself).

I’ve even lowered down to 20 psi and still notice an improved difference but you just don’t want to go too low, of course.

13" NexGen™ Trike Series Shocks were designed specifically to alleviate the situation you find yourself in.
They will provide a Much Improved Ride Quality, no need for a lift kit, & trunk does not need to be removed for installation.

Here's a video with a little bit of info on them-

Next Gen shocks work well for me. Having said that..GOD couldn't make HD's straight axle ride like a Cadillac no matter what.
lol! Ain’t the truth!
Although aftermarket shocks has made HUGE improvements over stock…(and I’m still personally wanting to squeeze every option to get it “as best as possible”), but you’re 100% correct that it will never ride like a Cadillac.

I am quite pleased with the results with my 14” ProAction shocks and got them dialed in damn good! But (as mentioned) the trike has a solid axle and short “wheelbase” and will always have a “choppy-ness” to it.
A good set of shocks will definitely help with this!
