I have been worrying about my trike throwing oil from the differential. This problem appears to be solved, but I still like to get under the trike and look. What I saw and I would imagine all of the inside of our wheel get really caked with mud. I have this on both sides so it is consistent.

I know there are places you do not want to hit with a pressure washer. But can I safely take the trike to a car wash for the inside of the rear wheels?

Are there any seals to watch out for back there?

I would think that it is safe to hit it with pressure . I can't imaging that your trike didn't wobble as that really offsets the balance of the rear wheel. Had it happen to a f friends truck only in reverse. the truck place balanced the tire with the mud he hit a bump lost the mud and almost the truck

Stay off muddy roads Larry :D

I use a washer on the rear, and underneath some time..

Ride through puddles. It's just like an under-carriage power wash...And your friends will learn not to tailgate you!

George, I thought you never washed the trike.

Thanks for the advice. I went to the car wash a little while ago. Its pretty hard to get the nozzle up and into the inside of the rear wheels.

the important thing is the trike is running string-straight until I make it turn. then it is super smooth.
