Rear brake pads

Is there a better pad available form CSC? for twin calipers it just seems that the rear brakes don't seem to grab like they should. I have the Standard Varga calipers with 11.5" purpose designed rotors.

Hi,

CSC does not offer a different pad then the pads that come with the caliper.

If you would like some other type of pad try this.

The Varga calipers used on older CSC kits (we haven't used these calipers for new kits in about 7 years) should be the same as early Volkswagen calipers.

Search for brake pads for a 1972 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia and you will find plenty of options.

These pads should be a replacement for your pads.

Thanks. You said these calipers haven't been used for about 7 years? My conversion was done in 2017, so just over 3 years ago. Is that possible that the calipers are that old?
