It will give you a better shot at it if you pull the pipe down and out a bit. I am going to replace mine soon, 2017 Freewheeler 107. If I cannot get mine off with the crows foot wrenches I have I will move my front exhaust pipe also. Good Luck

Jack, on my 2015 Freewheeler the switch was replaced in a matter of minutes without moving any pipes. Thanks to you, I was able to look up the code and part number.

How do you loosen the pipe enough to pull it down and out?

Loosen both exhaust pipe flange nuts, remove the bolt from the head pipes exhaust hangar ( look below the front pipes ) there is also a hangar at the cross over you can remove the bolts on, the exhaust can be lowered a bit now and blocked away from the area you need to work on. There should be enuff give in the rear muffler hangars to get this done.
