has anyone but a re-curved windshield on and what height did you do and do you like it? up here in NH the morning are cool and the cool wind makes my eyes water. I am using a stock shield now and being in NH I don't use a helmet even though I know I should but I am a nut.

If just the cool morning air is the issue, you can solve your problem with a set of goggles that will keep the wind out of your eyes.

There's many bikes out on the highways without windshields and the majority of the riders I see are wearing goggles. Relatively inexpensive, but very effective!

Yep. I just put the "Flare" Klock Werks windshield on a short while ago.
I'm still testing out comparing it to my F4. So far, I like it a lot. it works pretty good and I like the looks of it.
See the Custom Touring Windshields thread on here.
I posted some info and pics on it.

My wife and I both use Cocoon sunglasses over our prescription glasses. They are made for that purpose. We love them. Good sporting goods stores should sell them, or ebay, google, etc. If you do decide to get some, make sure you measure your glasses, so you know what size to get

Thanx for the link RcSuD - they look like good glasses. Is there a Canadian distributor or are they shipped from the US?

I for one, don't care for the stock windshields that come on the Wing. Too small and that vent is just a bug catcher. I really like the slipstreamer windshields. They are very scratch resistant, much thicker than the stock item, and wider. And even though their prices have gone up considerably in the last 2 yrs they are still a great bargain for what you get. Take a look at them.

Back on topic, I have 10" National Cycle VStream Windshield and it does a great job of deflecting the air up and over our heads. LRS is another company that makes good windshields. I have a 6" one of theirs. Its very nice.
