probably been answered before a thousand times, but, i have a '97 goldwing, and am going to change the front tire. what is best way to raise front end high enough to remove the wheel? i have a 3 ton floor jack. also have a cherry picker. any of these useful?
thanks-dave

with the equipment you mentioned I would use the cherry picker and a web sling thru the headstock, or possably the handlebars except they might need readjusting after tire change due to the weight dureing the lift, also you might use a lift under the front engine area (like a transmission jack, etc ) so you can lift both frame rails

thanks guys.
john, yours and mine are the same year, i believe, so, if it works for you, it'll work for me. i know that i'm going to need to do this eventually, because my front tire will not last too much longer. next time i'll take your advice, and go for the pilot, mounted backwards.
