Rain

Maybe the good Lord is making up for all those days last year with no rain and lots of heat. But I would suggest you keep track of the days of rain. If it starts to get toward 40 days I would suggest you find or build the biggest boat you can get.

2011 TG, Merlot and Black. Lift Kit, Screaming Eagle header pipes (no cat).

only at two right now....if my math serves me right, we got about 38 to go!
we have relatives up your way in ND:
Bismarck
Parshall
Crary

Just over a year ago south east Queensland was hit by massive floods with the loss of many lives and property damage that is still being fixed.
This week we are getting flooding rains again. Thankfully,no loss of life but many areas have gone under the water. Some areas got 5 inches of rain in 24 hours. The forecast is for more flooding rain over the next few days.
Personally we are lucky to be on high ground but many are reliving the trauma of severe floods only a year ago.

Sorry to hear about all the misfortune there.
We did get a great deal of rain in a very short period, we needed it however....we have been in a drought for some time now.

I will be riding into PA in morning and expect to hit that Texas rain that is heading toward me. I look at it as a free trike wash. And remember, a wet day on the road is better than a dry day in the office.

We've mostly had almost "Springtime" Weather in January...a few cold days but mostly 50s and 60s, and plenty of rain, or sun.....hopefully stays like this until Spring.....:10:

a wet day on the road is better than a dry day in the office.

You are absolutely right about that!

Left my home at 4:30aM. Lighbt rain, sleet and snow coming down. Ended by NJ. Stopped in PA for breakfast after 160 miles. Radar shows that big blog just ahead. and the temp is in mid 30's.

The bagels stayed bone dry. I was actually hoping for heavier rain than I got. Just replaced defective Cruiserworks boots that they warrantied (bad ones got wet inside after 45 min). Was hoping to give the boots a good test. Maybe Friday. In hotel already for night. I have to be in Albany next week. Already looking at weather. More than likely I will ride.

As forecast, we got some serious rain overnight. On the Gold Coast ( about 1 1/2 hours ride away ) they got 3 1/2 inches of rain in 1 hour and nearly 5 inches overnight. The severe weather warnings were cancelled by 9am but there is still a lot of rain and water cutting roads everywhere. There have been 28 swift water rescues of people who got caught out in flash floods. Still able to ride the trike to work though.
