questions about C90 trikes with 25,000 miles

recently I have noticed two 2008 models come up for sale
with mileage being in the mid 20k range.
Since I am not up on my Suzuki C90s, is there any major issues
with these bikes before or after they are triked?
If I would purchase either one, I expect to have it for about
10 years and I am figuring 4 to 5k a year in miles

Werewolf – I can’t answer specifically about the C-90 but I ride a 2004 Suzuki 1500 Intruder. It’s the same basic bike with carbs instead of fuel injection. Other than changing tires and batteries, I haven’t had a bit of problem with my 2 wheeler. I don’t have quite the mileage you’re looking at, my bike has just under 20,000 miles. I’m still looking for a trike because no manufacturer modifies a Suzuki from this year group and earlier.

Contact Yogisan here on the board - he has a C90, and can probably give you some answers. I have a 2007 C50 (bought new), and have had very few problems with it. I believe I have a bit over 11K on it right now (I only average 2-3K per year ).

I have a 2007 C90 with Lehman Jackal kit bought with 67000 miles on it. Check out the LC1500/C90 forum. Typical problems include poorly designed charging system frying R/R and stator. The forum has a DIY fix that looks intimidating but can be done easily. Less frequent problem with steering head bearings.

I have a 2008 C-90 with a Lehman Jackel kit. I bought it two years ago. It had 420 miles on it when I bought it. It has been an excellent machine. The left rear wheel bearing failed on it last year. The person I bought it from didn't send in the warrenty in to Lehman so I had no warrenty. I repaired it myself and was back riding. The trike has 11000 miles on it now. This is a late post because I have not been on here for about three months. Good Luck
