Hello everyone!

We are writing an article about the 2012 Stallion for the December issues of Wing World magazine and would like to include a Question & Answer section.

So, we thought we'd ask our favorite online forum for help. We need your Stallion questions! Throw them out there and we'll pick the top 10 or so for the article and provide answers.

Thank you so much!

I'm a Stallion owner and I have often wondered and asked the question why Thoroughbred Motorsports has not, as of yet, made available a service manual with electrical diagrams. I for one, would like a written resource to go to, other than to always have to call the manufacturer or rely on this forum for answers whenever a problem or question arises.

Your best sales people are us Stallion owners. Can we get a source for literature to hand out? We have been handing out whatever we pickup from you at shows, but it does not last long.

I also second the service manual with wiring diagrams, but would like to add a parts manual. It would also be nice to have an on line ordering page, for parts that are not locally available.

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking for but it would be nice if you had a list of Ford dealers or shops that have worked with TMS on Stallions. I've been out on the road traveling around and to know if I had a problem with the Stallion, there was a dealer or shop in the area that has worked on a Stallion and had knowledge about what they were doing.

As I understand it you want questions of the sort that folks that don't know anything about the Stallion would ask. I'm sure there are a lot, here are a few:

Is it a sports car or a motorcycle? If it is it a motorcycle, why? - it has a car (ok, small truck) motor and a steering wheel.

How big is it? How fast?

Do you need a motorcycle licence?

Is it hard to drive?

Can I pull a trailer/camper?

Where do you take it for service?

Who is the target buyer?

Are there accessories? Factory or aftermarket?

th

What was that? I'm sorry.......I couldn't hear you!

a parts list for ALL parts that are not associated with the ford engine, trans &rear end. for example:front fork & wheel bearings, front & rear brake components, fuel pump, radiator fan&fan switch sensor, hood& trunksupport pistons, tail light lens etc etc. this info could prevent someone from being stranded-especially during the weekend. even a modest cost to cover expenses would be acceptable.god forbid if anything happened to tms no one would know. thank you

These are questions by-standers (people that don't own a Stallion) might ask Stallion owners. Personally I'm not so interested in their questions, but rather questions that we, as Stallion owners, might ask TMS and this forum. As one TT member and Stallion owner has said, "we're one of the best group of sales people that TMS has". We ask nothing in return and we are generally happy to share our experiences. TMS would do well for themselves to keep us that way, by giving us the tools/resources we've asked for to be kept well informed about our machines.

I agree with daydreamer, these questions will help sale Stallions, but they are no use to the present Stallion owner. It is difficult or near impossible to obtain any service to your Stallion when it breaks down. Ford dealers don't know how to service them and frankly don't want too.
