I apologize if this subject has already been discussed. I was wondering if it would be advantageous to permanently mount the Supertuner on the trike? I was thinking of just connecting to a USB bulkhead connector mounted to the inside of the trunk? Then the laptop would just connect to that...

I'd just temporary wire it in and remove it once your done tuning, that is what I do when I tune with a TTS.

WIres run, USB cable, power to computer and wire to TTS dongle.

Laptop in the tour-pak.

Remote monitor so I can start V-tune session and see what cells I'm hitting.

There is no real advantage to leaving the tuner connected. It would be just sitting there. A problem may occur if it got some moisture in it. so why do you want to leave it on the trike?
