Good Morning everyone. Purchased my 1st Stallion about a month ago. It is a 2008 model and we love it. I have had a fog light to go out and I need to replace it. Is this an off-the-shelf bulb I can get at a parts store? If so, what do I ask for?
Thanks.

Sorry.... They are sealed units. You may be able to find a similar sealed light but it is about 25-50$ each. If it is under warranty you can get it from TBMS. They have two versions one has a longer light tail than some of the others. You may be able to get the exact info to order them from Nick at TBMS.

Eddie, the lights are servicable. I have replaced the bulbs several times. You take the unit out of the mount with a 10mm socket. On the back of the light there are 4 screws that you remove. The ground is soldered to the spring. I cut it about 6 inches back and then put some quick disconnect fasteners on so that the next time its easier. The same with the power feed. The bulb is the same one that is used in Spot Lights of police cars. They are 100 watt. I changed to the 55 watt ones so that they would last longer. I get the bulbs from NAPA. I also add a fastener to the power lead that matches the male spad on the end of the wire that comes with the replacement bulb. Cut the little boot to get the wire thru and put the light back together mount in bike. Tape the new connections plug the wires back into the harness and you are good to go. I've done this 4 times on MJ's Stallion. The 100 watt bulbs last about 100 hours the 55 watt double that. She runs her lights all the time for visibility. These are the general guide lines but should give a good idea on how to replace the bulbs.

welcome aboard glad you joined us. read my response to Mattel. I have serviced theses lights

With that much work it would seam to be more worth your time to change to a LED light. Great info!

Eddie actually I did change to a LED bulb but it was not bright enough, even is a super bright LED. So I went back to the 55 watt bulb.
