Question about Power vision

I have Power Vision Tuner for my 2012 Triglide and have put a tune in the trike that I got from Fuel Moto. The trike runs great and the question is should I carry the tuner with me on the bike because if I have problems with the bike while I am on the road and have to go the the HD dealer for a repair will the need the tuner to fix it?

I've always carried the tuner I used with me on road trips, never know when something might come up and you need it.

Maybe also save the data from the tuner to a thumb drive or computer just in case the tuner gets misplaced or data gets corrupted

I have a power commander V with autotune. Does the power vision replace both these units? Is it worth the expense?

The Power Vision is the only tuner Ive ever had. It is super easy to use and has a ton of features. I picked this on because I dont know crap about tuners but anyone can push a few buttons and do a good tune with it. Im sure the PCV does a great job but for me the Power vision works. :10:

No it doesn't replace both units. The good news is you are ahead of the game as I believe that the autotune and sensors you have now will work with the PV. Your autotune box uses wide band sensors if I remember. The PV uses the narrow band sensors to autotune, and can accept your current autotune. I'm not sure how they work as I am totally happy with the PV. The narrow band tunes in closed loop, the wide band in open loop.

Is it worth the expense? If you're happy with your current tune and everything is working correctly, why upgrade. Give Fuel Moto a call and get there opinion, they are straight shooters.

Hopefully others with chime in.
