Spent he day in the garage putting on the items from my trade in and installing a set of Khrome Werks 2+2 Narrow Sweeper bars. To my surprise there is not a small green pug on the TBW wiring! I have a green plug extension but it wasn't needed and the TBW unplugged from inside the fairing and slid right out of the bars. It was pretty easy to install the bars. And I like them, course haven't ridden anywhere except around the block.

Installed: XM Modual, highway mounts and pegs, Avon grips, passing lamp and headlight visors, chrome tail light covers, split vision mirrors, drink holder bracket, 7" LRS shield, windshield trim, axle nut covers, shorty antennas.

CB radio when I retrieve my CB Modual mounting bracket I left in my trade in....Duh! ( called dealer and they're removing it and will call me)...

Got dark so pictures tomorrow...

Back to a Tri-Glide Casper?

Yep, took a 18 day, 6400 mile trip earlier this month on my Ultra, needed to get North Dakota, Idaho and Wash State to complete the lower 48. Went with two riding buds. The whole trip all three kept saying " wish the wife was with me so she could see all this" so when I returned I decided that id rather have her with me on trips and rides. She won't ride two wheels, traded for a 16 Tri Glide. She's excited to be back on a trike and riding. She didn't say when I left a trike, but I believe she felt like she was being left out...my mistake.
So I'm happy, she's happy....all good in my world.
i may have another 2 wheel but it'll be as a stable mate to the TG...

Now I understand why you disappeared for a year..left us for the two wheel forums eh???

I stopped posting on 3 of the two wheeler forums i registered on.. A lot of Grumpy people on them ..And mostly lacking a sense of humor' Or not able to understand a little friendly constructive sarcasm... ;)

I know what you mean sometimes the 70 year olds start going at it on another site I visit .

Lots of snicker bars are needed :D

I found it was mostly from the Younger crowd 50/60 year olds, ;) You know the Want-a-Bee's....The'll get their first bike' Then all of a sudden everybody in a car/truck is driving a ''Cage'' and out to get me... I guess they only drove bikes and never a car in their life, So they like to use the Want-a-Bee... ''Cage'' word.. :D

Wow...it's nice to know that I'm considered part of the youngsters... :D but to be honest I hadn't heard the term "cage" until joining the fourm here. Guessing not enough time hanging out with the "in" biker crowd long enough to pick up the cool lingo. ;) Oh well  although the term does fit once you've experienced to open freedom a bike gives you, I'll keep both...

Casper, I guess you did have a busy day, can't wait for the pics.

My day consisted of working on the rims, not to happy about Harley not clear coating the rims, be nice if they would get in the 20th century, even cars have a clear coat on them, I'm pretty sure harley has somebody build the rims for them so I can't believe they can't put a clear coat on them. Maybe some chrome rims in my future, not sure yet, spent enough on this trike the way it is plus the jack. They always say HD stands for High Dollar, and I can believe it for what I have in all 3 bikes.

All for now Trampas
