Went to renew the registration on the trike in Ct and through the Ct DMV site got directed to what looked like the DMV. When the total due came up it included a $16.75 fee plus a $4.95 processing fee. I was able to back out of that site before giving any CC info but Ct does not charge fees for on line processing. This may not be limited to Ct so watch out if you renew on line with your state DMV.
