Pipes

Anyone modified with true duals and if so what did you put on that didn't drive you and others noise mad? Looking at V & H dresser duals. Ian.;)ThumbUp:confused:

I used V & H true duals with Harley Screaming Eagle CVO mufflers, the early version. Runs and sounds great. Not to loud but you know it's a Harley.

I thought I had Rinehart true duals installed on my trike until I tried to install the T-max Oxygen sensors and learned they are actually Vance and Hines pipes. I'm running Rush 1 3/4 slip-ons and they're pretty loud but not obnoxious. My buddy is running the HD Performance Slip-on's that look like stock mufflers. They have a nice deep rumble but are not hard on the ears.

I put V&H true duals on my 2008 UC. On the ends I put their Monster Ovals. They look great coming out of the back of the trike and sound great. I have had many other mufflers but not as good. I have Rinehardts (spelling?) on a Road King Classic, they sound great but not as good as the Monster ovals.

I have a 2010 TriGlide. I installed V&H deluxe slipons #1801-0498, Headpipes Pwr Dual 10 #1802-0112, FLHTCUTG Adapter kit #1802-0129, HD Air cleaner kit #29260-08. HD tuner #32109-088 w/cable kit 32184-08A.
After the dyno and finally a test drive I really like it. One of the best things I did was get rid of that cat converter. The pipes are slightly louder than stock pipes and have a different sound from I think the new air cleaner. I am not sure about fuel mileage yet but I'm sure it's better.
Hope this helps.
