I am following the instructions in the manual for setting your personal identification number, but cannot get to the point where the display requests a number. Anyone else had a problem doing this, or is it just me?

I've installed the code in 3 Tri-Glides and a Freewheeler and didn't have a problem. What you are doing is VERY important. I've seen one person with a Tri have his fob battery die on a long trip and never input a code. Another lost his keys and couldn't start his trike. Make sure it is an easy number. Good Luck

I tried and tried but couldn't get it to work. My husband came along, started her up, shut her down and was able to input the PIN. I mentioned that part wasn't in the manual. Hope this helps!

Did you try turning it on and off and starting over again?

Yes. Previously I had not started it before I tried setting the pin, but after you said your husband had success after starting it, I tried that, but it still doesn't request a number. So I'm traveling with both fob's and an extra battery until I get the pin set.
