Photobucket jacking fees, any good alternatives?

Don't use Photobucket too much, but I'm not paying ~$39/mo for the privilege! (Angry)

Gonna try Imgur. Not sure if it will do videos tho.

I solved that problem by hosting my own pictures. I bought a shared server site from Arvixe. 3 bucks a month forever as long as I don't let the contract lapse.

I know nothing about this but 1 guy has moved his to ImageShack.I can't imagine this will end well for Photobucket but time will tell.

Photobucket has become very "Ad-sy", numerous popups that intrude while you are trying to view thumbnails. A real PIA. I can do without that!

Imageshack lost me already. If you have a Mac just use iCloud or get one of the many other free cloud offerings. There are several. But if you get too many(I have no idea how many that might be), you may have to find yet another cloud offering. It's a matter of free storage so once you hit it you'll know and you'll be warned I'm sure. I never even thought of using iCloud until Imageshack tic'ed me off by blocking a few nearly nude but not completely photos and photobucket as well. But iCloud is really the way to go and these other places that like to display ad after ad can pound sand. So if you have a Apple product there is your solution.
