Pet Carrier (Justin Carriage Works) mounting

Something Pet Carrier owners may want to try. I tack welded the mounting nuts to the flat bars. Drilled a taper in the flat bar opposite the nuts with a 1" drill. Replaced bolts with round head, hex drive ones. I use Blue Loctight on the bolt threads. I have several thousand miles on my carrier with this mounting without any problems. Makes mounting and removing the carrier a lot easier.

Thx for that info--we will give it a try at this end, We are are also now designing a hard cover to transform the pet carrier to a storage trunk when not using for pet

Please let me know when the hard cover is available.
I'm also working on trim to cover the interior felt lining edge where it meets the fiberglass body. I'll let you know what I come up with.

I forgot to tell you that I put fender washers between the round head, hex drive bolts and the carrier plywood floor.
Any thoughts on helping me out with the shipping damages to my carrier?
