Paint and pin striping

Another newbie question. I recently bought an '09 tri-glide red hot sunglow. The colors growing on me, but the tan pin striping isn't. I've been following this forum for awhile but haven't seen anything about anyone painting their trikes a different color or adding graphics, etc.
Anyone done that?
Any thoughts on how hard it would be to change the color of the pin striping?

A pro pin striper can paint over the stripe with your color

Oven cleaner will remove the pin striping. Keep an eye on it so it doesn't take the red paint with it.

I just had my black Road King painted in 1957 Chevy colors and used black pin-striping.

Ask around locally. Pin striping is an art form.

:Agree: Don't use oven cleaner. Using oven cleaner will be one excuse for a complete repaint, caustic and paint doesn't get along with one and other, paint normally looses.

Yea no kidding dont use oven cleaner!!! There is no easy way to change the pin striping
without taking it to the paint shop..

a good paint pinstiper or a vynl detailer can cover the old pin striping with a new color width or design.I did that with a vynl designer and have been very pleased.

I have an 09 Red Hot Sunglow TriGlide. I had a pinstriper paint our names and designs on the Trunk lid, designs on front and back fenders, side pods, fairing with the same color. It looks much better with more paint. But to each his own. Rod69
