starting to look around in the York area for a 2019/2020 Tri-Glide. Been quoted the basic vivid black 2020 model from one dealer $34999 plus tax and tags. Listed at $36545. they are taking the standard freight and set up off, and an additional $1k off. don't sound like much to me.

wondering what types of dealing some of you guys have been seeing. Any suggestions of who in the York/Gettysburg area might be better. I will be hitting 3 or for around here the next week or so

any input appreciated.

Here's what I did. I listened to the best deal they had to offer, then I gave them a little BS talk back about the offer. They came down a little more. So I said the only way I will make this deal is for you to throw in a few extra's like a luggage rack for the Tour Pak, A Back Rest, Foot Pegs. and a Extended Warranty . So when I stood up to leave, they came back with a better offer. Just have fun with the wheeling and dealing. Good Luck with yours.........

I just bought mine at Susquehanna Harley. Like I take delivery this week after all the extras are added. Dealer is more than fair. Willing to deal, throw in some stuff maybe depending on the deal, and if they don’t have the bike you want they’ll try to locate it and bring it in. Brought mine from a dealer in NY. Talked with Dave, he’s the owner. Everyone we dealt with from reception to parts was just super with a great customer friendly attitude. Dave is willing to deal, especially on 19s. Mine is a twisted cherry 19. Good luck. BTW, I live 10 minutes from Battlefield Harley in Gettysburg and wouldn’t buy there. Here’s our price take it or leave it. I don’t work that way.

Hope it works out for you.

Always get the out the door price that includes tax, title, fees etc.

Give Eisenhauer's Chesapeake Harley-Davidson on Route 1 in Darlington, MD a try. Talk with JB if he is around.

Yeah I agree about Battlefield. Have a WE WILL NOT BE UNDERSOLD sign hanging up. They are doing "winter pricing" because sales are slow. Today I was quoted a 2020 Spruce Tri Glide $39642 OTD. he can't do anything about giving services or clothes packages because they are separate from the bike sales department.

1st Capital in York gave me an OTD price for same 2020 Spruce of 37160 with free 1000 mile service. Now they don't have a luggage rack on the bike like Gettysburg but that's only s $200 part according to online prices at HD.

Still, not so sure either are such great deals considering HD is "hurting" so much in the sales department.

so I will hit another dealer or two and figure which has best starting point and then push them from there. We will see.

Maybe HD is no longer in my future...might have to change my allegiance.

Try going out of state to Maryland. It's like what, 45 minutes from Gettysburg? I've purchased two bikes from Frederick Harley and was always treated real well...and got a pretty good deal. They currently have three Tri Glides in stock. Might save some money, who knows?

I agree with Mark. I have a friend who dealt with Frederick Harley and was treated very well. Might be worth checking out!
