First off, thanks to everyone who answered all my many questions. It really helped me with making my selection.

So what did I decide on?
Motor Trike Trog for my 2008 FLHTC
Raked Front End
Reverse
On-board Air Compressor
Trailer Hitch
Fender Bras & Trunk Carpet

I will post pictures in about 4-weeks.

CONGRATS on Your choice.....You're gonna' enjoy it....Pics Please....even the build, all the way to completion would be Great.....:wtg:

Another new trike will soon be born! :yay:

Congratulations! and you will find that this next month will be the longest of your life.....LOL!

In 5 weeks u will B a Happy Camper ( triker ) in 6 weeks you will need a teeth cleaning to get the bugs out of your teeth from all the smiling and laughing while you ride ( it is very hard not to smile when you ride your new or in my case my old trike ) in this 4 week waiting period read up on your trike , ask questions on here, do your homework . The first 1,000 gas stops will be like being on Jeopardy question and answer every time you stop. Always allow at least an extra 15 min. on long trips if it includes eating or gas stops . U didn't mention color did u. Light and bright colors attract more people.

If it turns out as well for you as it did for me, you will be well pleased. Try not to let the anticipation raise your blood pressure too much.

Just curious as to why you didn't choose the gladiator kit. From your previous post you were considering it. The trog is a solid axle kit correct?

Good question. I spent a lot of time researching the differences between solid axle and independent rear suspension (IRS). I then rode both types (though not a Gladiator) and based on the ride and research, thought I would be happy on either. I really like the air ride on both Motor Trike models.

The Gladiator (IRS) model comes standard with an on-board air compressor and for the Harley a handlebar mounted panel to report and adjust air pressure. I like the functionality, but not the esthetics of the handlebar mounted panel. The pressure gauge and regulator button for the on-board air compressor for the Trog can be built into the fairing. (I will be using the space where the ambient air gauge is.)

I have a Bub 2 into 1 exhaust. This will be more of a challenge to adapt to the Gladiator than the Trog. On the Gladiator the exhaust is routed through the suspension frame.

So while I am sure others will be very happy with the Gladiator, I think the Trog will work best in my specific situation.

Thanks, I too am hooked on motor trike kits. I have a 2010 ultra classic that I want to convert but I am waiting to get more mileage on bike due to the fact that the warranty will be gone after I put the kit on. I have back issues that have gotten worse. I probably should have bought a trike from the start!!! "Stealer" will sell me a new trike but won't really deal. I was looking for air ride and IRS motor trike seems to fit the bill

Yep, I understand. The warranty on my 08 expired this month.
I also tried to talk our local Harley dealers. They could not arrange a test ride on a Tri Glide and said they had more buyers than trikes. That and I did not want to start over on additions I have my to my 08 Classic made me what to go the conversion route.
Once I get my Trog on the road for a few hundred miles I will post a report. I am really looking forward to it.

Looking foward to it. Wait till you start riding it as a trike, u will be looking backward at it saying I waited too long. Grandma told me. Never put off til tomorrow what you can't do today.

I think you will be much happier with the conversion because it is a bike you are familiar with and you will not have to deal with the heat from the 2010 models.

Trike conversion update: Looks like I misunderstood how long it would be from the time of ordering my trike conversion kit and when it would ship. It’s turning out to take about 30-days, not two weeks. I ordered the kit on July 14th and now looks like it will ship about August 14th.

So, I will be patiently waiting (yeah, right :)) and post pictures as soon as the build starts. I know the finished product will be worth the wait.

As a kid I always had a hard time waiting for Christmas too.

That's standard shipping time from Champion. They advised me of that right off when I ordered mine.
