oil temp gauges

HELP!! I'm in the process of installing an oil temp gauge on my 2012 TG. Everything went smoothly until I got to hooking the wiring harness to the gauge itself. It's a black female plug. All the info that I have so far tells me it plugs into a white box from the air temp sensor. Can't find it.

HELP!! I'm in the process of installing an oil temp gauge on my 2012 TG. Everything went smoothly until I got to hooking the wiring harness to the gauge itself. It's a black female plug. All the info that I have so far tells me it plugs into a white box from the air temp sensor. Can't find it.

the sensor for the air temp gauge is located as you are looking at the bike from the front with the outer fairing off, on your right side down towards where the frame steering head area is. It is tucked back in there just to the right of where most of the main wire harness comes forward at. Takes a little bit but keep looking in that area you will find it.

2014 Oil Temp Gauge

I used the 2013 temp gauge mounted on my 2014. Had to relocate the CB module but it works. Backlights are wired into the normal system for night lights.
