Hi Y'all,
Have a GL1800 that I really like. Let me explain....I have bought 4 motorcycles in the last 2 years trying to find a riding position that I can be comfortable after about an hour. I didn't know what was wrong but was just diagnosed with Rhuemitoid Arthritis, explaining all the discomfort.
I dont know how long I will be able to ride on 2 wheels but am just trying to learn about the trike setups so I dont make the really dumb mistakes. I am used to making the kinda dumb ones.
I am just here to learn a little, so please excuse the dumb questions. I am sure the answers are all here I just dont know where to look yet. TIA
Welcome Steve! RA certainly does explain your discomfort!!! Sorry to hear that. But a trike should make a lot of things easier for you with riding. No need to put your feet down and balance a heavy bike, and with the reverse added, you can maneuver with a touch of a button! No questions are "dumb". You are better off to get your answers from those who build and ride every day before you make some mistakes that cost you later!!!
So ask away

Welcome to the board... The best advice I can give U about trikes is to ride all of them.. All the manf. are good but the way a trike rides makes it more for the person who is riding it.. Some love their CSC, some love their Motortrikes and no one wants to tell U they wished they had chosen a different manf. So ride all the ones U can to make sure it fits u... However a trike might not be the answer to ur medical condition.. U r still sitting on the same seat just not having to balance it.. U might look at the Motortrike Stallion to see if it is something U would like..
Good luck and keep us informed...
