I've been to the factory a couple of times in the past month or so and JD, the owners son, said they are having trouble keeping up. They are having one record breaking month after the next. I think that is great for them and great for all stallion owners. Their future seems to be looking bright.

Wow, and I think the blue color seemed to be the hit of the 010 line too! Good for them, great people producing a quality product in the USA and thriving!!!!!

The Star Sweeper (that's grand ole lady #251) spent the month of May down at TBMS being updated and they were going nuts trying to keep up with demand. Offering options really worked for them. (Go figure, it certainly scared me silly).

Gentlemen, I don't know a thing about all the changes they made, but my baby is now looking at trees like she's wanting to climb them. Gas mileage is down a bit, but heck, I didn't buy her for economic concerns. We may have to set aside a fund for bail money though cause I noticed my right foot is startin' to develop a mind of it's own.

Adventurer, when you're heading down 69 on your way to TBMS you're coming right past me at Lake Holbrook. Give me a heads up if you'd ever like a tailgunner. I'm always ready to run that wonderful road into the plant.

can you imagine being able to take your car back to the factory for an update? TBMS is a great company. There are small issues but the service is unbeatable. Thanks Jeff and Diane

I've talked with two dealers recently, last one today in fact, and they won't have any Stallions till fall I'm told.
Like others I wouldn't want to put down any $$ till I was able to see/ride one.
To bad I can't make it to the TTR lll and check out members rides there.

I too would love to take one for a spin.... Looks like it would be a blast. and a real attention getter. Most ( ( all most all ) the people in Conn. have never seen one, so it would draw a crowd. I hope they are not pulling a fast one as Subaru did in 1996 with the SVX. They told dealers in May of 1996 that they were not making any SVX cars in 1997 because they could not finish the ones ordered for 1996 in time. In 1997 they stopped production .

I wonder what is included in an "update"?

Now don't forget the Grand Ole Star Sweeper is number 251. A Stallion of the early concept and design. She's going to need far more work done to bring her up to speed and safety than the newer models. The thing to concentrate on is that Thoroughbred Motorsports is not just one more company who makes trikes or one of Lord knows how many car companies throwing four more wheels at the pavement. They're a company who puts a great deal of importance on their reputation ... and not just because that produces sales.

Dennis :D you've played on four wheels and two ... maybe you've earned graduation and can come play with the big boys and gals on a Stallion now.

Zoom, Zoom (someone cover for me while I run) ;) On second thought ... no worries ... he couldn't catch 251 anyway.

You probably have that right, since I sold my Triumph Rocket in April (which could have) and the camels and donkeys over here are pretty slow...you got me, I'm not going to be catching much of anybody. Now when I get home in August (under six weeks now) I'll be back with my 'Stang so I will have the means but...I know what you mean...unfortunately I still have a ways to go but at least, hopefully, I will be able to test drive/ride one soon enough and finally get to know what all of you are talking about.

Thanks for the invite JuJu, it may be next year but we'll see. How did you know I live across the river....oh, stupid question, probably just from my name.

Right--I figured there couldn't be that many places named Molino. (Either that or I have a touch of ESP that I never noticed--LOL!) We'll look forward to meeting you too!
