newby from muskegon mi.

well it seems i have been a member here for some time but because i never posted they say i can lose the membership. really had no reason to post because i don't visit very often but here i am i have a 650 burgman and a 250 helix clone. my past riders were. i started 55 years ago with a sears moped any remember those? then i went to a twinjet 100 from yamaha and had that for a few years and that was my first on the road legal bike. then i went to the 350 honda scrambler and drove the stuffings out of that bike. it performed well everywhere i took it even to south carolina but on the way back a rocker broke and left me stranded. i had to crate it and ship it home to mi. then i got a honda 750 and had that bike for 25 years and drove it everyday it was not snowing or heavy raining even to canada all the midwest states as well. made a trailer for camping and me and the wife rode that for all out early trip. we were even on the road to six flags in wisconsin i think the day elvis died. we told lots of people that day at the park and few believed us will not ever forget where i was that day. then after 8 back surgerys i had to give up the 750 because i could not toss my leg over the saddle nor ride straight up with my feed down for long, so i went to the honda helix 250 and that was a dream to ride. felt like i was in a recliner i loved that scooter but i have to upgrade to the 650 burgman i have now because the helix doesn't like the 70 mph xway speeds well.

so there you have it long post for the first time but not new to forums i'm on tons of them. thanks corvairbob.

Thanks for posting... :) I did the "major league" back surgery thing about a year ago (only 1 surgery, not 8) and so far I have still been able to "climb aboard".

Best wishes for your future riding - let us know how you're doing. Have fun, be safe... ThumbUp

Hello Bob and welcome back to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. I was born and raised in Muskegon, living out on Milliron Road. Moved out when I was 11 years old. Hope you enjoy the people here, they are a great bunch. Ride safe.

Everyone is welcome to post their experiences. So you do have something to post every once in awhile.
