Hello from new member[/h]

Hi to all members. I am from Pennsylvania and getting ready to move to Florida. I just recently sold my can am spyder. I was thinking about purchasing a Triglide in the future. And I found this site very informative and interesting. If there is any members that went from a Can Am Spyder to a Triglide I would really like to hear about your thoughts and experiences of the two different animals.

A friend Schrubs2000 went from the CanAm to the TriGlide and is happier with his decision.

He's out on a ride today and may chime in later today or tomorrow. If he doesn't I'll let him know.

I also Looked didn't bite

Looked at Can Am just did not like the seating and storage arrangement. I have a friend swears by his (Spider) and another that swears at his (Spider), and is looking to move his to another place soon. I will just ride out my life with OLD SHINEY My bride of 30 years and I will not have it any other way. ThumbUp ride safely fearless

I hada 2012 and a 2013 (Taxi hit me from behind and insurance bought be a 2013) Spyder. Do to all the issues with Spyders, I traded in on a '15 Triglide. BEST decision I have made! We have 10900 miles on it and absolutely Love it.

The ride is much better on the triglide as I'm not worn out after a long (200+ mile ride). I always seemed to fight the Spyder to keep it going down the road. Also the wife is much happier and comfortable on the ride - a major advantage.

For me, the major downside to the spyder was I didn't trust if for anything outside of the local area. If something were to break, the dealership support is limited as there aren't a lot of dealers. I wouldn't hesitate to jump on the TriGlide now and ride anywhere no matter how far.

This is strictly my opinion and YMMV.

Thanks for your reply. I agree about the dealer support. You also never know what Quality of mechanic your going to get. I used to drive out of my way for service. I felt they had a better mechanic. Mine was an RT and I didn't feel comfortable taking it touring.
