Newbie in Texas

I'm new to the trike world but I did buy one a few years ago from a estate sale. Very interesting trike if I say so myself, custom job with a Renault drivetrain . Motor is locked up so I'm looking to do a conversion similar to one that one of the members here is doing with a Northstar engine. Just waiting to see how his comes out first ! lol once I figure out how to post a pic I'll put it on here. Great site !

Dont know if any local members know anything about this one but the motor was out of a 1967 Renault R10 from the info I got off motor. Nothing else on it though.

Wow! That trike has some age on it for sure!
Obviously one is not going to find Renault parts easily here in the US, so a change of powerplant might be a good decision.
Not sure about the northstar platform as a first choice but if that's what you want to do, why not?
Of course the built frame and all of its other drivetrain components will need close examination & evaluation. Going from what I would guess the Renault engine is putting out 50 horsepower? to something putting out 300+ ponies is a huge leap!
Best of luck on that potential build, & post pics when you canThumbUp
