Just got a 2007 GL1800 with Champion trike conv. Rode 800 miles this week with the unusual warm weather Love the the bike, but do have question about the ride. Haven't been on any kind of bike in 30 years til now, it seems to ride rough over the raised expansion joints in the road. The front hits very solid and the back will at times bounce you around in the seat especially whenthe wife is on it with me. Have tried 5 to 25 pounds air pressure and doesn't make much of any difference. Glad to be onboard.

Welcome to the board... I too grew up in IL..I feel for you but with all that great warm weather.. get out of the house and get on the road. I would also check you tire pressure most people new to triking tend to put wayyyyyy toooo much air in the tires.
Enjoy your early summer.. .

It might not last!!!!!

Welcome aboard!! Used to do a lot of deer and goose hunting near Vieeena (Illinois pronunciation) Try lowering the rear tire pressure to about 16-18 pounds. Won't hurt the tires and will improve the ride considerably. I've run 16 pounds in mine for over two years riding two up most of the time.

Thanks guys I live in Vienna lots of deer hunting around here. My pressures are 41 and 21 is that about right. Thanks everybody for welcomr and help

Run the triglide at 36 front and 26 rear. This was recommended from the shop. Seems to do ok. Welcome from Lawrenceville, Illinois.
