My son and daughter, both of whom ride, are telling me I should be considering a trike' I guess they are thinking that 79 is a bit over the hill for 2 wheels. So I am looking to see what it is all about. My only experience on 3 wheels was a brief ride on a Honda ATV 3 wheeler some years ago. I was not favorably impressed. I am curious about the 3 wheel conversion kit and what is invoved in the conversion.

My hubby, Scalp Hunter, had ridden 2 wheels 'bout forever! A couple of years ago, he decided he didn't want to worry about keeping the heavy Ultra upright any more (with me pullin' him down every time I got off!), so we went trike shopping!

Found a GW 1800 CSC at a local dealer and fell in love with it right there and then. We've been coast-to-coast, last summer, and back East from Texas three times since then, and have never regretted getting three wheels. We've been places and done things literally impossible on a regular bike - national parks, gravelly mountain roads, muddy trails. Love our big trike and would do it again in a heartbeat. We also have no fear about riding by ourselves instead of in a group.

We like California SideCar - have worked directly with those folks and they're very nice, but you need to ride as many conversion kits as you can and then make up your own mind.

Welcome aboard Alex. Blondie Gal is telling you right. There are so many different trikes out there, and each handle differently. Ride as many as you can, and read up on the trike kit. Most of all, ensure you have a good installer. That's very important.

welcome aboard Alex. Once you get on 3 wheels you will wonder why you waited so long. Good luck
