New Triker Riding the Blue Ridge

First tike trip. First time on the Blue Ridge today. Spectacular! Rode all day with a lot of fog and some rain, but also had enough sun in the afternoon to make it a geat day with great views. Learning to watch out for and avoid pot holes on the N.C. section. Have seen at least a dozen trikes on the trail.:) Used several pointers that I picked reading advice from experienced trikers on the forum. Enjoy the forum very much. Riding a 94 GW with new MT.
Thanks. Geevill

What a great way to get your first trike experience!!!! Mike and I love riding on the Blue Ridge :). Just relax, take your time, and allow yourself to get used to the handling of the trike. It won't be long before it is second nature. But.... I can tell from your post that you already are having to clean bugs out of your teeth from the smiling :D

Thanks Nana, I rode several short rides before going on the trip (advice from your members to newbies) I was really pleased with the aqua shields that I had installed. Rode some pretty good rain with only the top of the rain suit and stayed pretty dry.
