New trailer

Took a while to get time to do my weight testing. Trailer weighed in alone at 1190 lbs with 140 lb tongue weight. Believe it or not, where the trike is sitting in the picture puts a 12% tongue weight on the setup. The difference between 10% and 12% was about an inch of travel. The wife was giving me a bit of the stink-eye when I told her I was going to use her bathroom scales to weigh the trailer with the trike on it.

Great follow up I didn't think it would need to go much farther as balanced as the trikes are. It would depend how much gear you have stored in the trunk and tourpack . Now make bride happy and buy her a fancy set of scales just because. Thank you for the follow up. :Coffee:ride safely Fred

Probably won't happen. I like being married AND eating supper in the house instead of the back porch. One thing not hinted at or discussed in this house is weight.

Just a thought...

Only purposed as an offering in case of perceived damage to existing scales. I completely understand just somethings are not discussed and that one is taboo for me  also. ride safely Fred
