Hello,

I am curerntly in the midst of converting my harley sportster 1200 xlc into a trike. I am fairly new to riding, I actually inherited this from my father, when he passed.

I am looking forward to riding a trike, never really had the opportunity. I live in Las Vegas NV, and dont really know anyone that rides a trike, so any pointers for a newbie would be appreciated.

Take care and safe riding,

0tolerance

Welcome aboard. Glad you joined us. That Sportster will make a fine trike. What conversion are you using? Lots of good info here.

There are a lot of ways to make a conversion. I am also still a newbie and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the trike. I used a Frankenstein kit. No matter what you decide to go with, have a GREAT TIME!

Hi 0tolerance, welcome to the community. I too live in the Vegas area, and have had my GL1800 triked @ Trike Toys out on Boulder Highway. I absolutely love it! We'll have to get together down the line!!

Welcome to the best place on the net for trike information! And to add to your knowledge base, I've prepared a document to help "newbies" transition to three wheeling.

Here the link for a half dozen page PDF document written especially for new riders but certainly helpful to any triker:

http://www.thetrinitytrike.com/dealers/TrikeNewbies.pdf

Just click on the link to view the file on your screen and hit <Control+P> to send it to your printer or go to the File pull down menu to save a copy to your local system.

Enjoy & be safe!
