New to Trike Talk but have found out much needed info fast !!!!!

I'm a newbie but I am very pleased I have found this sight...I currently ride a 04 ultra but I am selling it or trading it in the spring for a trike...Still undecided as to a 09,10,or 11 HD I have read here about the heat issues and with the 11 and 10,s I am leary think 09 is the way to go !!!! From the posting the 09 seems to be better. Its easier to correct the issues because the cat converter is in the mufflers. It moved to the header pipe the next year. But they all can be ajusted to run great.
