New to the site

Hello from Mike and Heidi of connecticut. this is the first time on this forum and from what I can see, It looks like I'll be talking with folks with the same interest. A little back ground, I've bee riding for 36 yrs. started out on a 1972 360 yamaha , then to a 550 suzuki, 1984 aspencade, 1989 goldwing, 2001 heritage softtail, 2003 ultra classic, and last year I found a 1994 se goldwing with only 3948 miles on it. those are original miles. anyway in sept of last year, I had a 2007 motor trike kit installed and heidi and I really enjoy it. Our plans are set for a week at Americade (staying @ lake george RV park and then 10 days between wing ding and the smokies of Tenn. If your ever in ct , and you belong to Gwrra, we're in the gold book.. gives a call and we'll have coffee. Sorry, I got a little side tracked. anyway.

Where in Connecticut are you? I just lost my best friend and Triking buddy 2 months ago,,,,He got his trike last May, a 2002 Goldwing yellow Champion. took me 4 years to get him to open his wallet and spring for it. I am glad he got to drive it and enjoy it for the few short months. He rode that TRIKE with a huge smile on his face. Hope to see u on the roads of Conn. We will be at Americade all week also. Hi Mike and Heidi,
I hope to run into you at Americade. We are going up on the 4th for a few days. I hope to be riding a red 08GW with a Trike Shop conversion. Still waiting to pick it up. Bought the bike and placed the order for the kit in October. Good thing I was planning ahead. I hope to get a plate that matches my TRI-3 log in name. Post a pic of your trike and I'll keep a lookout.

Hi Steve and Kathy! Thanks for writing! See you're retired and thank you for your service!! We are looking forward to retirment too, but have a few years to go but we sure are EAGER!!

Back at ya!! I did retire in 97 from the military, but the Govt. made me a offer I could not refuse in 2000 so I am now working for the Govt. again. But that is ok, I was only 45 yrs old when I retired from the Coast Guard (after 28 yrs). We too camp on my time off and have a toyhauler so we can take the trike. U guys ride safe.
