New to the Forum

Hi. I joined the forum a little while ago while surfing the net looking for information on Trike conversions. I didn't post right away, but I just got an email that I better post or I must be a BOT - whatever that is. Anyway, I ride a 2012 Gold Wing that I am planning on converting to a trike this winter. The wife is getting kind of anxious when riding on two wheels and wants to go to three for stability. I am looking at the Motor Trike Razor. I am also intrigued by the Tilting Motor Works conversion for the Gold Wing, but there are some issues as they work out the differences between Harley and Honda conversions. I don't like the idea of losing ABS, the master cylinder reservoir is too small for the new brake system, and they don't have the automatic low speed vertical lock system worked out for the Gold Wing yet. Anyway, looking forward to participating in the forum.

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome! I am definitely going to trike the wing and am going with the Motor Trike Razor. Just need to wait until the first of the year to get at some cash. The local dealer is Interstate Honda in Fort Collins. They did a friends wing last year and it turned out great - same conversion. It's nice to have a dealer close by. Planning on doing the 4 corners ride this May (Blaine, San Ysidro, Key West, and Madawaska). Will try to time it so I go through DC for Rolling Thunder - at least this time I won't be a FNG (fun new guy!). Last time was in 2007 with Run for the Wall - Central Route.
