New to me

Just bought a new to me 06 Goldwing Hannigan from Tony in Alabama. Drove down and picked it up Friday and rode it home, about 400 miles. All in all a :Trike1::):)good trip except for alot of cold rain. This is our forth trike so I knew what to expect. My wife had two Boss Hoss trikes and then we had a 07 Goldwing Hannigan which we sold because we lost our minds. We each have a BMW R1200R but really missed the trike when we ride two up.

After reading all the good things about Tony we decided to buy one from him and Joyce. I have read some negatives about them lately but my experience was nothing but good. Sure the paint could be a little better but my first Hannigan was painted by Hannigan and had to be repainted after about a month. Paint was coming off. No issues with Hannigan taking care of it.

We are glad to be back on trike and remeber why we loved the trike.

Why did you sell the boss hosses? Any particular reason, uncomfortable ride, gas mileage etc?

I painted my own trike and from that experience I can tell you if something can go wrong with a paint job it will. There's only a list as long as your arm of things that can go wrong with a paint job.

Bought my RS kit from Tony, got a real good price and he had it shipped to my front door in 10 days.

As far as the Boss Hoss's go I really did not have alot of issues. When we had them I also had a Boss Hoss two wheeler. The major issue is fuel mileage and heat along with not very good quality. The last one we had was a 2006 and I know they are better now. Comfort wise they are good once you get over spreading your legs apart. You do not get alot of goodies such as music, wind protection and things you take for granted on the Wing. But you also never tire of the sound of a cammed up V8. Still gives me goose bumps at 66 years.

Will try to post some pics of our trike.
