Greetings, All.........Recently offered to do the maintainence gig on my OL's trike as she doesn't have the time or desire to turn wrenches. Not new to riding, but am definitely new to wrenching on trikes. Will have some questions and can hopefully help others here and there as well. Looks like an excellent forum and wanted to offer my Respects......

Greeting right back from Long Island. My parents live in Tucson, so I sometimes ride through there. Had some work done at the H-D dealer and now I get automated calls telling me about dealer parties that I can never make.

Welcome to the board,, we do have a lot of good people on here and also a lot of good information.. Not sure what brand trike U r working on but there is someone on here who has it or has worked on one... also u might be able to help someone else...

Have a great time and enjoy..

welcome aboard. wrenching on trikes is not much different than bikes. ask away.

Thanx for the welcome, Y'all.......the OL's trike is a Suzuki/Lehman conversion. The Lehman portion looks pretty straightforward, stock rear brake cable/rod teeing off to actuate the 2 rear wheels and the emergency brake cables, one to each wheel, but also have the learning curve for the VS800 front end, LOL!

Not sure when you were in Tucson last, Bikerbozo, but the Harley dealership (part of the "Ride Now" group) has moved from Grant Road to a new shop on the frontage road of I-10 in Marana......

Yep, I was at new location in May 2009, the last time I circled the USA. On 2-wheels then. My parents live up in Saddlebrook. They keep calling them also to come down for parties.

The new dealership looks great, in spite of the controversy attached to the "Ride Now" group. Have bought parts there when it's more convenient than ordering on-line.

Saddlebrook is a very nice retirement community as you well know.....your parents might consider accepting the dealership party invites. Free eats is free eats, LMAO!

Greetings and welcome to TT Ol' Grey from Friedens, PA. You are lucky that you have the tools and know how to do mechanical work on the trike. Me, I am in about the same category as Tim the Tool Man Taylor.

Admittedly, I haven't had time to read very many threads at all yet, but is Tim the Tool Man Taylor the member with only 3 tools in his shop ? LOL! Good one! :wtg:

Thanx for the welcome, wingking51 and here's hoping that Spring is coming your way soon. Been a harsh winter in some states......Folks need to get in the wind.......
