Hello All, Never thought I would own a Harley, but after dropping a Honda CTX1300 several times, I decided I could no longer hold the bike up and began a search for an alternative. After looking for trikes on bike trader and testing various "add on" trike assemblies, I found most of them uncomfortable, difficult to steer, and could tell everything was after market. I even went and test drove a Can Am and thought I had found the answer! Well, after pondering things I decided I needed to wait a little while before pulling the trigger. My riding buddy has a street glide and I have enjoyed riding with him and his bike was impressive. He called me Saturday and told me they were having a big meet and greet and old bike show at Killer Creek Harley in Roswell, GA and invited me along. Long story short, I had no intention of trading bikes, just came for the show, food, and of course Beer! They had a 2016 Freewheeler parked outside and I couldn't help but notice it. After a little while we kept coming back to the trike and I finally agreed to take it for a test ride. I really didn't think I would like it and it would be too hard to handle and steer. After about a 15 minute ride, I became the proud owner of the trike and have fallen in love with it. They even took my CTX in trade so I didn't have to deal with selling it! Will post pictures later.

I'm a 70 year old widower and have been riding over 50 years, but after so many surgeries, etc., I could no longer handle a substantial two-wheeler, and am happy to have become a proud HOG owner!!

Hey Richard! Welcome to TrikeTalk from west Texas! Sounds like you absolutely made the right choice for you. I haven’t seen any major complaints from the Freewheeler riders on this forum. They all seem pleased with their trikes.

Welcome Richard, Sully from Kennesaw. Killer Creek is a Good Dealership with good Service. I bought my Trike there and have service there also. When you take it for service, ask for Big Mike, he's good.

Maybe we'll see ya one day.
