New tail lights

I can only say that any additional wiring/ harnesses, etc, on my '07, was located under the drivers seat. You might need to contact Roadsmith & see where they relocated this harness to.

I am looking at installing these lights on the rear of my 08 Roadsmith trike.

The instructions say to use this wiring connection to hook them up.

I don't know where this would connect on my trike.

Anyone faced this before ?

Thanks !

Good Morning Tom. The connectors you are looking for are most likely still tucked up under the top trunk toward the rear and almost impossible to access. If you were lucky the kit installer relocated them under the seat but that in not the rule. Easiest way to track them down is to locate the wires coming from the trike tail lights and follow them back to where they plug into the bike wiring harness. If your trike has a trailer hitch and wire assembly, the connectors you seek are also the same connectors you would normally find the trailer wire assembly plugged into.

Not much help but maybe enough to get you there. Good Luck!! :xszpv: :xszpv:

I have those on my Hannigan and they plug in under the seat. They are plug and play. I did buy an adapter that turns them into running, brake, and turn signal lights. A friend of mine has them on his Roadsmith and doesn't have the adapter but his were plug and play also and I'm pretty sure they plug in under the seat also.

2012 and newer uses the other plug Wingstuff sells which does indeed plug in under the seat. '01 through '10 uses the multi plug set up usually found just about the rear fender insert on a two wheel GL1800. When the conversion happens if the installer does not relocate those wires (which can be done) then getting to them is really difficult.
