The Fuel Moto Pro Billet stage 1 kit rocks. It fit clean and looks clean, very well made. The stock cover fits perfect and at a glance all looks stock.

I did did use a little filter sealing grease with the K&N type filter around the filter sealing area and where the breather cross over tubes go under the filter at the top. I did this to be extra safe and have always done this on all K&N type filters applications ( old dirt bike habits are hard to brake).

I set my Nightrider FL-Vied-10 units from the 50%/14.2% fuel ratio set point to the 75%/14.0 fuel ratio set point after the stage 1 kit upgrade and My Freewheeler runs great and has a nice crisp throttle response.

(NOTE) The Freewheeler still ran good at the previous 50% set point with the stage 1 upgrade kit but it just ran a hair better at the 75% set point with the stage 1 upgrade kit installed.

My set up,

*Fuel Moto Pro Billet Stage 1 kit For 2014/2015 touring.
* Nightrider FL-Vied-10 Units.
*D&D Exaust 3 1/2" Touring Mufflers ( Short Rounded Billet End Caps, keeps mufflers short behind chrome bumper) with the 2" Vortex Baffles.

Ride Safe All, :)

I am very anal about keeping my trike clean so I try not to ride in the rain :AGGHH:( Pain in the Butt to detail after riding in the rain).

I don't really know to be honest as I have not ridden my Freewheeler in the rain yet. Harley designed the cover that way and all the 2014/2015 Mt Rushmore Touring model Harley's all have this type air cleaner covers from the factory.

What I liked about this particular stage 1 kit is it was designed to be used with the factory 2014/2015 Mt Rushmore snorkel covers. The cover works like a cold air intake by design. I do think the screen would defuse some of the water issues.

(Note) You could also see the stock air filter the same way through the snorkel. That did not change at all. With the new stage 1 kit it just has a bigger air filter and a much better backing plate to guide the air into the throttle body. ( Built in venturi to throttle body and air holes in backing plate design).

I've ridden in HEAVY rain with both the Rushmore cover and my oval cover. No issues with the Rushmore at all and no issues with the oval that is on it now.

AHhhhh, Not riding in the rain is pretty easy where we live (we meaning you and I):D We usually know it is going to rain on Wednesday watching the Monday news.

After a ride I blast the scoots off with a 1300psi pressure washer using a foamer and Simple Green. I use 'Wax and Dry' when I wipe it down

Oh, we are heading to Antelope Harley Saturday, have a 10a appointment to get her scoot serviced. We usually ride up the street to Crazy Otto's for breakfast while they are doing it. Sorry about the short notice, Wife just told me..

Srewball,

Boy you got that right about the News, the rain and Monday Lol....:clapping:

Boy, I would like to catch up with ya at the Antalope HD dealer and breakfast but I go back to work Saturday morning at 6:00am. I do believe I have the next Saturday off.

I just purchased a complete, new 2014 Rushmore air cleaner assembly. Have always liked that style a/c and plan to powdercoat it in either a Gloss Black or Titanium finish. Your Stage 1 set-up sounds like the way I want to go with our 103".

Quick update after 250+ mile ride today.

A little issue arose with my FL-Vied-10 set at 75%

The problem is my milage dropped down to 27/28 mpg today on a 250 + mile ride. At the 75% set point the performance increases were so small that it did not justify the mpg losses for me.

So I decided at the 125 mile mark of my 250+ mile ride today when fueling up to set the FL-Vied-10 units back to the 50% set point. The Trike still ran great and performed very well and my mpg came back up to around the 33/34 mpg range.

As stated before it is nice to be able to fine tune the FL-Vied-10 units on the fly. It took about 2 minutes in the gas station parking lot.

I reckon you would call my set up a 'stage one'.

I have FullSac dx pipes run from front to back, and catalytic converter was removed. The stock mufflers were drilled out and the fullsac baffles were put in. Up front a screaming eagle air cleaner was put under the Rushmore cover.

Which baffle did you use? I was hoping someone try the cvo baffle to see if it would fit.
I like th enew fuelmoto ac to. I have rode in the rain with no ill effects. I don't stop for rain unless I see lighting or a monsoon

Hey Bill:
With your set up, you did not need the Harley dealer to
upload/ download anything?

What Fullsac baffles did you install.....Curious Minds would like to know!!

I reckon you would call my set up a 'stage one'.

You should Have your ECM Recalibrate, That will bring your red line to 6200 rpm's..And complete the stage 1....
