Had my HD tech take off the Ness Big Sucker and put on a just out new Screamin' Eagle open filter air sucker. Looks way better and changed the sound of the exhaust... Actually made it deeper. Ran great, didnt need to re-map the computer either. Sticks out about a inch further than the Ness and has more air intake surface too. Will give it a good workout this weekend. More shiny chrome than the Ness...which is the most important thing of course. Ha!

Like you always say, that chrome looks good and gives you better MPG and more HP!!!!!

That's right! I had a Performance Machine Wrath cover on the Ness. Not shiny but looked bada$$. New one is all shiny and all that chromey goodness does make the motor go zoom!! Haha!
I got my new one while in California last week at a big dealership in Marina del Ray. Convinced my CFO (Wife) that I had to have it. It was the only one they had. My dealer has not been able to get them here in Idaho yet, back ordered, so mine was the first one they had seen. Everyone had to come back to the shop and check it out after tech installed it. Now gotta see if I can locate a stainless steel filter like I had on the Ness. More shiny stuff!!!!

Yep...Look on page 444 in the 2013 HD goody book. I put on the Chisel, Chrome.
Part # is 29400104. Like I said earlier, it has a larger intake surface than the Ness did. I have not had a chance to take it on a good wring out ride yet. But it really did lower the note on the exhaust, which was already very low anyway.

You have to put a rain sock over it if you are gonna be ridin' in the rain, and it comes with one in the package. Also called a condom by some, it lets all the air in, but keeps moisture out. I have 2 of them now and keep 'em in my right lower fairing glove box. Some guys install the rain sock in the filter permenently by putting it over the filter and then putting on the chrome cover over it. Then you never have to worry about it. But I dont like the way that looks and it is really easy to slip it on in 10 seconds if there is rainy looking weather ahead of you. You also need to cover it when you wash the bike. My dealer sells a plastic cover just for that for 30 bucks. Remember to take it off when the bike is dry because it lets no air or water in. I can testify that the bike will not run very well with the shower cap on. Only happened once though. haha!
