Hi,

I am a new member to this forum. My nickname is Kugie (old family nickname) I live in Fincastle, VA. I am retired from the Air Force since 1993 and worked a few jobs before going into full time retirement 10 years ago.

I just went from riding a 2014 Harley Ultra Limited (which I loved) to a 2016 Harley TriGlide which I'm not too sure how I feel about it yet. I gave up the ultra limited because it was becoming too heavy for me to handle and I still wanted to ride so I figured the trike was the way to go.

I am finding out it is a different animal but I am determined to get the hang of it. Looking forward to getting some good information and advice here Thanks.

Welcome to the forum from communist ruled Western Pennsylvania. The reality is the OEM shocks are pitiful. Pushing and pulling when steering helps a lot. Rear tire pressure at 20-22 helps keep the front tire near max. As for the heat lift the tank air deflectors help a great deal. Floor board spacers help with heat as well. A first class tuner makes a world of difference cools the motor also. For back and shoulder pain higher bars other than that they are still a great ride.
