Just bought a 2009 Stallion Black Cherry so the wife could get off the back of our two wheel ride and join in the fun in a better way plus it will allow us to include our children on rides a little more.

I don't know if this is the place to ask but I do have some questions for fellow Stallion owners.

I noticed that the black plastic rings that go around the roll bar, where it meets the body, kept popping loose on our trip from Houston back to Knoxville Tennessee. Does any one know the solution to this? I have noticed in a few pictures that some of these rings appear to have been replaced with a chrome ring that looks much better.

I would like to do something to be able to move my Garmin GPS unit back and forth between the bike, car and trike. I would like to wire it direct like I have on my motorcycle so that I can leave it on if I want to without the key being on. Anybody have any ideas for the best way to do this?

Lastly I would love to have a service manual (not owners manual) for the Stallion, does anyone know where this might be available?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Steve

Hi Steve, and welcome to TrikeTalk! Your questions are fine here in your introductory post, but I'd suggest you enter them again into the Stallion section of the forum, as many of our Stallion owners go directly there and may miss them here. This link will take you to that section: Stallion Trikes - Trike Talk Forum

Welcome aboard Steve. I never have had a problem with the rings around the roll bar popping up. Suggest a little clear silcone to hold them in place.

As far as the GPS find a place where you want to mout it. If it is on the hood portion you can run a plug to a recpt. that you can install. I installed one in the panel to the left of the steering wheel. Behind that panel in the engine area is a hot point to wire it to.

There is not a service manual available for the Stallion. The best you can do is get one for a 2007 Ford Ranger, the drive train is basicly from one.
