Hello Everyone
I'm from Cleveland, OH (Brook Park) and have converted my wife's 2009 Honda Shadow Aero to a Voyager conversion because of her short status. The bike is almost completed now and is rideable- just need painting and final details. I ride a Harley Electro Glide Sport and my wife wanted her own bike. We found out it was a little big for her, not completely unmanageable but uncomfortable to handle. So instead of selling a brand new bike, I took it a bit further and did ther conversion to it. It is diffferent being a old timer riding bikes all my life.
So nice to see there is a common forum for all of us to share. Thank you to DonWood whom I have e-mailed about his Voyager from this forum.
Ozarkryder, Love my FLHS (1989) still with original paint (White and silver)some chrome (HA ha just a little!!!) tour box, trailer hitch and stereo. Clocking approx 46,000 miles. I get many compliments on how nice it looks especially being 20 years old too!
Mine's black (the only proper color for a Halrley;)) and almost bone stock. Painted the rocker boxes, primary cover and nosecone insert black, added the HD luggage rack and pass. backrest. 68,000 miles showing, but I went without a speedo for 7 years. Figuring in average annual mileage is have about 95,000 on the clock. Had the engine remanufactured last year by HD - Basically a brand new EVO, good for another bunch of miles.

About once a month someone compliments me on the nice Road King. I am gentle with them when I correct them on the model difference. 2 or 3 times a year those that say "nice Road King" are on a Road King! That is a good chuckle.

Trike Content:
When it gets so I have trouble keeping it upright, it's getting triked. By then my wife will learn the motorcycle controls on our GW trike, or she'll have one with an automatic tranny.

If u need any more help or info on the voyager, ask I had one on my 1981 GW for 3 years. i installed it and rebuilt some of it . OH yea almost forgot WELCOME

John, Thank you for any help about the Voyager. I had some rattling in the rear and thought that the rear fork links were making most of the noise. This morning I slightly tightened up the axle pivot links, and the fork link bolts just to take up the play in them. It made the world of difference with the noise. When setting up the Voyager trike kit the instructions did not mention about tightening these up any and nor were the ones from the previous owners kit. So I don't know if this was a good thing or not.
