Happy to find a oasis in the desert of information on trikes. I am 73 and have decided that in the not so distant future I have going to have to retire the sporty and either take my knees outta the breeze or trike up. I don't really have a preconceived notion on which way to go (kit or OEM) and although I ride a Harley now I have seen a lot of great bikes from other manufacturers. Probably will not be posting a whole lot but will be spending a lot of time reading. <br />

Hello OP and welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. Since you already have a good bike you could save some money and put a trike kit on it. The costs will depend on the manufacturer and options you want. Or you could trade your current ride in on a completed trike that you have tested and considered to be good enough to enjoy. I wish you luck in your transition. I am 57 and have been abored a trike for almost 3 years and I love it. There is no reason to suffer with sore knees or worries about when riding 2 up and flopping the bike over. Let us know how it works out for you.
