Howdy! I'm sorta new here, been lurking for a while.
I have a 2008 GL1800 Motor Trike. so far I've put on a Michelin Pilot Active mounted backwards, progressive fork springs, 6 degree rake, handlebar risers, a Vortec windshield, one of those passenger seat plexiglass things to decrease wind on my wife's back, Ride-on in all three tires (yes, it works great), Kuryakn air filter, iridium spark plugs, and synthetic oil wherever lubrication is needed, a wheel chair rack mounted to the trailer hitch to carry around my wheelchair while I'm riding, a Pingle shifter and I just had torq loops and Vance & Hines Monster exhaust put on and the beast sounds awesome!
I'm out of money now and will consider the trike finished except for maybe finding out if the Motor Trike independent rear suspension is available for my trike.
This is my first post so don't delete me. Anybody else out there put the torq loops and Monster exhaust on their trike. There is a noticeable gain in torque and the engine winds out a whole lot faster now. I just went for a ride and by the time I was thinking about hitting 3rd gear I looked down and was doing 70. It's listening to the sound that makes me do that, I suppose.

I'm also looking for other trike riders in SW Washington to ride with if anybody is interested.
I almost forgot. I ride with only one leg.

I use a Pingle shifter and have never had any problems with it.
The only thing I don't like about the trike is that Motor Trike has the most f*cked up air suspension I've ever seen. I also added a plugin in the lower trunk so we could have an onboard air compressor since the Motor Trike airbags leak.

Welcome Haddont. Nice area for riding you are in. Just passed by there by train a couple weeks ago. Have also ridden along Columbia river. Very scenic (and very, very windy).
