Hello all. I'm still on 2 wheels but thinking about going to three. Current ride is a 2002 Goldwing.

Dale C.

Dale, how many miles are on your Goldwing? You might want to visit the DFT dealer in Blooming Prairie, MN. Vern's Bikes and Trikes. They are great folks. The DFT is a great trike.

Hello from Anderson, MO from a former Minnesotan! Off the top of my head, there are a few trike dealers/installers pretty close to you. You might could take a little trip and talk to them, maybe even take a test ride.

Many thumbs up on patriots suggestion on Vern's Bikes and Trikes in Blooming Prairie. We met Vern, Gloria and their daughter at the Davis Rally in Iowa (coming up the weekend after Labor Day). We stop off at the shop in Blooming Prairie on the way to New Hampton from my o's house in Farmington, Mn, and we are always treated like old friends, even though we only get up that way once per year.

Timm's Trikes in St. Charles, MN is only about an hour away from you, have met them at the Davis Rally and they are nice folks, too. Haven't delt with them but know a few folks that have good things to say about them.

Up in Fairbault you can find Trikes, Bikes and Autos. We came within an inch of getting a trike from them, would have but found one with the color we wanted and all the options already installed a lot closed to home. Very good people.

And more thumbs up to the Trike Shop in the Cities. They make the Roadsmith, and they are great people. We have known them since Gloria got a VW based Runabout many years ago. They are very concerned with customer satisfaction and make a great trike kit. One of the first to make all their trikes IRS, and an extended wheelbase for a smoother ride and bigger trunk.

The weekend after Labor Day is the Davis Rally in New Hampton, Ia.It is a fun rally, more mature (not old, mature) crowd and lots of rides and vendors. It's only a 2 hour ride from La Crescent. There are usually trike dealers there. I know that Roadsmith, Timms, Motor Trike and a few others are usually in attendance.
Verns has a vendor space for accessories, they'll be glad to talk trikes with you, I'm sure.
If you would like to camp for the rally you are more than welcome to pitch a tent or trailer with our group. We have 15 - 20 regulars and usually 5 or 10 folks that come for the first time or every few years.

DFC Welcome to the site and you have an excellant rde to trike if you so choose. There are several manufacturers out ther and you can pick and choose , some depending on what options you desire.Of course keep in mind you get what you pay for generally, so take care in going for the low prices.Take your time because you wil be spending a good piece of change and hopefully a lot of time onboard with your new three wheel ride.
