I just purchased a 1986 Goldwing Aspencade 1200 and am building a trike kit for it because I am 74 years old with bad knees. I find it hard to keep the bike up when stopped or going slow, so I'm adding 2 more rear wheels. I could use the help and advice from experienced riders and trike owners. My main concern at present is designing a suspension that will work well but still be simple to build, no advanced mechanics, stay basic and simple. Thanks in advance for help and advice.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

May I suggest a Triwing trike conversion for your 1200. The kit has everything you need including the body to make an great looking trike. :clapping:

Welcome to our group of crazies! Ya might consider selling your bike and look for an older completed conversion trike and then you can make it your own. Some states also won't allow you to "home build" a motor vehicle because of safety standards. Be sure to check it all out.......be safe and good luck.
