I currently ride a Can-Am Spyder 2013 RT Limited but and considering changing to a HD Tri-Glide. I like the Spyder but there are three problems with it. One is the gas mileage (28 per gal), heat from the engine and last limited dealer network. I have ridden Harleys before and my last one was an E-glide Classic. I am looking for information about the Tri-Glide on handling and safety.

I get maybe 30mpg with my '10 TG. Heats a big topic on this site. I ignore it. Big dealer network and I am happy with handling. Get the extended warranty if you get one.

Hi and welcome. My 2014 TG has been purrfect. Almost 4,000 miles and it just keeps getting better. No heat issues even when riding in heavy traffic when the temp was 106 degrees in Laughlin Nevada.

Just my opinion-love my HD trike-yes there is/are heat issues, seems like they are partially rider tolerant.......I've done several mods on mine and have elimated them all (and I live in a very warm/hot area). Re handling - once you are familiar with trikes I feel the the HD handles great......currently have 54 thou + miles on my 2010.
