I have been lurking for a while trying to learn as much as I can. I don't have a trike right now but looking to have something by summer.

I have been cleaning the shop and think I have enough odds and ends to build a VW based trike with an old Sportster front end.

Now all I need is an idea about how to build it and where to start. There are some great photos in the vw and custom forums on this site.

Thanks for that link! there is some good stuff there. The part about the shifter adjustment is golden. That is one of the scariest parts of this project to me...The other might be the appearance of my welds :-}
